Resolutions

Now that 2009 is getting closer and closer, it’s time to think more about what we want to change about ourselves and our goals. Maybe starting something new or even ending something old. From habits to hobbies, addictions to adventures…What are your aims this coming year? Have you really thought about it yet?

Well if you haven’t, now is the time. Let’s try to make more time for God instead of mindless activities. Let’s stop making excuses and get down to work. Through our resolutions we can truly make a new revolution.

I found this video while I was on GodTube and I thought that I should put it up, it’s really sweet. Hope you like it. Enjoy and God bless.

Time flies by.  At least that’s the way that I see it, what with a jam-packed, event-filled 2008 coming to a close. For those of you, like me, who have trouble with remembering things, tonight during the Y4j meeting there is going to the end of year DVD to jog your memory a bit. Take a few days to really reflect on what you’ve done this year and see how God has truly worked in your life. Maybe you could read through your journal or find some photos. I think that this would really help us be more grateful to God and be more thankful especially since Jesus’ birthday is coming up =)

If you find something that you didn’t like about yourself this year, now is the time to make a change. Ask God for a Christmas present to overcome any negative aspects in your life and start afresh, in God’s light, in 2009.  Talking about new beginnings…Y4j’s first Christmas Ball is coming up tomorrow and I hope you’ve all gone to buy your tickets! Everyone’s talking about what dresses and suits they’re wearing, I must admit the excitement is building up! If you’ve been taking your time and haven’t bought a ticket yet, tonight is the last day to buy one. They are selling at 15euros so hurry up and get one because this is an event not to  be missed!

Thanks for reading,

God bless you!
